Title: Adobe Acrobat
Post by: TRANE WR3CK on April 22, 2015, 03:06:07 PM
Is there a way to prevent Adobe Acrobat from automatically opening in my tool bar when I open Visio?

It does but when I remove it from the toolbar (uncheck) the box it shows back up the next time I start Visio and it fouls up my toolbar layout.

When you restart Visio, are you opening an existing file, or starting from a blank document?

I do both and it still appears.

I think Adobe Acrobat Writer is one of those pieces of software that ensures it's not being disabled. There might be an addon installed into the Visio directory structure somewhere.
Question I must ask. I create Acrobat files but I do so with 3rd-party PDF writers, do you actually need the Adobe software insttalled?
