Title: Strange shape behaviour
Post by: Paul Herber on March 30, 2015, 01:35:25 PM
Hi all, on another form (one of the Microsoft ones) a user has a document with four shapes that cannot be accessed.
I've attached the document here. If you open the Drawing Explorer window on not one of the shapes is the right-click menu available.
In the grouped shapes the contents of the group can be edited but that is all.
I'm puzzled.

Document is protected.

If you open the drawing explorer, right click on the VSD entry and choose Protect Document, you will find shapes is selected.

It can't be just that though. There were many more shapes on the document that could be deleted, and if another shape is added it isn't protected in the same way.

Ah, it's the combination of Shape -> Lock Select and Protect Document -> Shapes.
