Title: Global changes?
Post by: dasadler on March 23, 2015, 07:18:29 PM
I created a fairly complex floor plan for a house that I purchased and have had trouble getting dimensions correct or, at least, being able to transfer my measurements correctly to the drawing.

I found that the problem is that all the interior walls are 5 inches thick and the Visio 2007 I am using has 4 inch thick interior walls.  I have been unable to change the thickness (width) of an interior wall despite removing protection.

Is there a way to change every instance of an interior wall to 5 inch thick by using some macro or changing a master shape?  This would only be for this particular .vsd file.

Thank you

Did you use right-click menu, "Property"?
1. Select all interial walls.
2. Select right-click menu, "Property".
3. Change Wall Thickness.

Thank you Junichi Yoda.  I did not know we could do that.  This is exactly what I needed.
