Title: cad converted to visio - everything disappears when I edit

I opened a cad 2002 file in visio 2013 and saved it as visio.  Then I went in and converted all layers to visio.  I can open it up and edit it.  When I try and edit text for example I can type but once I click off what I was typing on everything disappears.    Any idea what could be causing this?  I want to add some room numbers to a drawing and move a few shapes around.

AutoCAD have two types of fonts: ttf and shx.
May be Visio uncorrectly convert shx-fonts ?
