Title: Is there a Visio equivalent to normal.dotm in Word?
Post by: Jennifer on October 27, 2014, 01:03:17 PM
Can I create a default "template" for Visio (2010) that will work like the Normal template in Word? That is, whenever I create a new Visio document, I will get all of the settings in that template by default? The Help is useless.

Actually there should be a way to do this.
I had to problem that new documents were always created from a template that I often use. That is something that I did not want.
Opening Visio without creating a new document, then closing made this effect disappear.
There must be a place where this information is stored.
