Title: Block Connectors on Hover
Post by: Ken on October 19, 2014, 12:17:16 AM
Hi Guys,
I am using Visio 2013 and have just started having a problem when selecting a shape and hovering over it.  There are now grayed out arrows and when I hover over one it tried to insert a connector line or another block depending on the last stencil used.  I have tried deselecting all sorts of options but can't get rid of it.  It's hard to search on when you don't know what the function is called.
Cheers

It's called Autoconnect.  In V2007, on the menu bar, there's an icon that has a square with 4 gray arrows point out from each side, that you can press to activate / de-activate the Autoconnect feature.  Don't know where it's located on the ribbon.  But, at least you know what to search for now.

Hi Wapperdude,

You're the man. Finally found it in Gatesware.  I wish MS hadn't messed around "improving" Office, Visio and Project 2013.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
