Post by: radek.cervajz on September 09, 2014, 08:06:41 AM
Hi all,

I have read all discusion about hatching in Visio and there many usefull way of custom hatch fill pattern. But there is still issue that Visio can not appear these fill pattern after saving as .SVG :-\ Has anybody found out this problem?

I am using Visio 2010. Does it work in Visio 2013?

It works in Visio 2013 for hatching.
But not works for gradation that is new function in Visio 2013.
It works when I save as vsd that is file type for Visio 2010 and save as svg,
but does not work when saved as vsdx that is new file type for Visio 2013 and save as svg.
I think Visio 2013 is not complete, either.

Thank you for answer!

I can't imagine what you mean. Can you upload .vsd example with well working hatching, please?

Do you mean your own pattern you created?
Sorry, SVG don't work at all also in Visio 2013, SVG makes shape pure black.

yes, sorry for missunderstanding. I hoped you had meant that hatch pattern after saving as SVG will be still vector. So it seems like there is any solution in VISIO 2013 too :'( the black fill instead white is the difference - cool!
