Title: Icon image has extra bottom leading
Post by: Jennifer on August 09, 2014, 05:53:04 PM
I captured the PDF bookmark icon (the page with the bookmark ribbon) to use in a Word document. In Visio, I cropped the image to remove all of the border and I deleted the cropped part (Format | Picture | Compression). But when I paste the image into a Word document, it has a white border, especially at the bottom, which makes it sit above the text line.

If I save the image from Visio as a PDF and insert that into Word, the border is much smaller.

How can I eliminate the border entirely and get it to sit right on the text line?

Does the desired image have white in it?  If not, use Visio to save as a png file, and set transparency color to white.  Thought ought to get rid of the border.

Hard to tell without seeing the icon, though.
