Title: Conditional Data Graphics?
Post by: CableGuy on December 10, 2008, 05:48:10 PM
Hello - I have a need where I show differnet Data Graphics for the same sysmbol, depending on where I use it).  In this specifci case, I either want to show two Text Callouts or one, hopefully based on a selection by the user.  Can this be done?  I explored looking at the multi-character code inserted into a shape's ShapeSheet, but that code appeared to change even if I made some changes and then went back to the "original" Data Graphic configuration.  Does anyone have some suggestions as to weher to start, or even if ti can be done?  Thanks, in advance.

- Paul

P.S.: The value in the User-defined Cless section I am referring to is for visDGDisplayFormat

I think you have to make a custom data graphic that turns fields and graphics on and off, depending on values, but these things behave weirdly, so I'm not sure exactly what to do.

I'm not sure where to go with that, but I appreciate the reply.
