Title: Visio jpg output options
Post by: chetu.urs on February 04, 2013, 06:30:25 AM
Is there a way to set the default "Quality" level to 100% when saving
as jpg? We have our sales team making drawings and sending them to
clients. They typically send the client the jpg as most don't have
visio. Our team usually forgets to change the quality from 75 to 100
when saving as jpg. Is there an option or registry key perhaps that
can set this level automatically?

I thought that the export filters saved the last (manually-entered) settings you entered. They should only have to do it once...

Nope, Visio 2010 forgets the jpg settings when you exit Visio and restart. It only remembers the settings for the Visio session. I believe this has changed from the past, but I suppose it doesn't really matter.
