Title: Visio 2007 Saves Backwards
Post by: laurenmt82 on December 15, 2011, 02:17:27 PM
Hello,

I am working on a process flowchart in Visio 2007. Twice now, when I saved my project (both through "file" "Save As" and the quick save icon, it reverses my flow chart swim lanes. I never know about it until I close the page and re-open it. Then it's too late and the damamge is done.

An example of what it does is:

Let's say I have swim lanes A, B, C, D, E. When I save, close, and open my document it shifted my swimlanes to E, D, C, B, A.

Why is it doing this and how do I fix/prevent it? I don't have time to repair the damage every time I go back to work on my flowchart!

Thank you!

Do you mean Cross-functional flowchart?
US or metric? Horizontal or vertical? How many rows/columns? What size paper/drawing?
Does this happen with no shapes on the drawing or only when certain shapes are added?
