Hello everyone,
I have a quick question... I hope. ;D
I am running Visio 2007 Pro and and MS V/S 2005, I am doing the MSDN - "Integrating Visio 2007 and Active Directory" build. I have done every step to the word until I hit this snag, I am at the part where I am adding a Marker to the Document. I am stuck where it is asking me to "On the Insert menu, click Section, select the User Defined Cells check box, and then click OK." Well I get into the the Section area and the User Defined Cells check box is grayed out, this is where I come to you all for HELP! Where or what am I doing wrong to not have this Section box give me the opening to check it? Here is the link to the MSDN Visio addin I am building. Can some one please help find the error or explain to me what I missed, so that I can select this box and finish this build.

I am at the "Add a Marker to the Document" section.
Thank you,
Kyle
Wow, 18 views and not even one reply... :-\ This leads me to think I might have to look at some other Visio forum website to get an answer to this problem... :(
Disappointed,
Kyle
I think you should be a bit more patient, you posted your message on a Friday, it was a late Friday afternoon here in Europe. Even for those who understand the problem (and have any interest or knowledge of Active Directory) you have to look to viewers who have both Visio 2007 Pro and Visual Studio 2005 and have time to look at the problem. Some people might be away for the weekend, at least wait until Monday lunchtime.
Clearly the Mustang guy is in a hurry...
If the User-defined cells section is grayed out in the Add Section dialog, that likely means it already exists.
So the next step is to look under View > Sections. I'll bet the money-equivalent of the time Kyle was willing to wait for an answer, that he'll find that User-defined cells is unchecked in the View > Sections dialog.
Oh, and...
Sorry about coming on so upset, just in a crunch and have a lot on my shoulders... I am sorry!
Kyle
Oh yes, nice firebird... and yeah I am a Mustang guy and I am use to going a bit faster then the F-body guys... LOL ;D
