Several options:

1.  if you want to remove all white....then click on the line white 2-3 times (that selects white), then delete
2.  If you want the white but not the hed...then click on line white 2-3 times, open shape sheet and overide the line end settings in the line format
3.  If you want the white to be smaller/scaled with the green (which by the way does already unless you modifed it)...white click 2-3 times...shape sheet and update the line weight as you see fit
     (it should say, paraphrasing,.....green line + 2pt

June has done some really great work here...but the line ends require some exotic geometry.

So in some cases, I do this
   - drop the white
   - use new line to attach as normal
   - copy the new line
   - update weight and set white
   - set to back
   - attach to same points as green

I have spent alot of time enhancing Junes stuff....please solicit his/my help as needed on this.
