Title: More control over the connector tool
Post by: zaphox on May 07, 2010, 11:37:38 AM
Hello,

I'm new to Visio. I'm using 2003.

I would like to know if there is a way to add a corner at a specific point on a connector line. I expect it's tricky to understand what I mean... here is an image of what is happening at the moment:

I would like to be able to manually add corners as per the edited image below:

I would have expected to be able to hover my cursor over the line, then press a key and click on the line to add a new corner point but I'm damned if I can find it!

Anyone know if this exists?

The control key is your friend here. Hover over the green handle, press the control key and drag the handle. That will bend the line and give you two new handles. Experiment. Have fun!
P.S. Try the Alt key as well.
