Title: Building Elevation Plans
Post by: Swiswede on June 07, 2008, 01:54:43 PM
Hi,

I am busy taking a really old architects drawing of my home and trying to digitize it. I have been able to do the floor plan really nicely with pretty much no problem. I would however like to also draw an elevation plan. i.e. The side view of the building from the North, South, East and West sides so you can see the windows and pitch of the roof etc. etc..

Any ideas how I could do that?

If you have a scanner, try importing them and tracing them (worst case take a picture?):

and have a look at these articles:
