Title: Labelled dyn connector with label alignment
Post by: tziu on July 14, 2017, 09:31:12 AM
Hi All,  in general, I would like to know how could you refer in a shapesheet of a shape, to the geometry of another shape
For example, in this great post:

http://www.visguy.com/2010/02/09/text-along-a-connectors-path-in-microsoft-visio-2010/

it's explained how, using new functions  ANGLEALONGPATH and POINTALONGPATH, to dynamically position and align the text of a shape to the shape itself.
But what if I wanted to align a text box to a line/connector? Can the geometry of a shape be related to the geometry of another shape?

Sheet.N!Geometry1.X2
N being the ID of the other shape.
