Hello, everyone.

I am working for an ERP/CRM systems integrator in a non-customer facing capacity at the moment.  I am ready to make a change in my career and learn Visio to help me move towards the customer interacting role within the same company.  I would like to learn Visio and be able to map business processes.  However, I have never worked with it.

Does anyone recommend any reading material, on-line training, etc., for a beginner?

Chris has a list on this site. There's also a list on John Marshall's site

I am also interested in looking for ways to learn Visio better.   :o  I looked at the link suggested and noticed that according to the information on the bottom of the page it hasn't been up dated since 2006... since I know you can also get a bit of Javascript that will announce the date it was last updated....

Anyway,  I am looking for a "good" Intro. book to Visio 2003.  "The best" instruction video for Visio 2003 and last but not least a good "UML 2.x tutorial that focuses on using Visio 2003 to learn it."

I am learning how to be a Business Analyst so I need to develop good mastery of the tool in general for IT activities and especially for Use Cases and UML documentation.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tom Miller

Whatever you find, the built-in UML in Visio is only UML 1.3
