Title: How to add new True Type fonts to Visio 2010?
Post by: Mike/Mass on March 27, 2024, 07:24:26 PM
I'm running Windows 10 and Visio 2010 and generally speaking its working fine. I am however having a couple of issues I can't seem to figure out.

Trying to add a True Type Font called "Architects Daughter" and it says its installed but it doesn't show up in Visio when I'm using it. Is there a "trick" to installing additional fonts to Visio 2010?

Another minor irritation is I'd like to use the scroll wheel on my mouse to zoom in/out on my drawing. I can do that by holding the Ctrl key but years ago when I used Visio 2003 or maybe an older version, it was easy to set up the scroll-zoom function. Is it not possible to do this without holding the Ctrl key down?

TIA for the help and advice.-Mike

1. Install your font for "all users", then it should appear in Visio. Right-click your font while holding SHIFT key and select "Install for all users":

2. The option you are looking for is:
File → Options → Advanced → Zoom on roll with IntelliMouse
