Title: Corners look ugly
Post by: dtallent on January 04, 2018, 08:42:44 PM
Hopefully someone can help me out.

I am making a drawing of one of our offices and for some reason the corners are square and don't look finished.

The one I am talking about is titled Dale ugly corners.

I have also attached one that has the corners like I like them, but I can't figure out what I did different, unless it s something in the design tab.

format==>line==> rounding     If that is what you are talking about

I vaguely remember the equation is something like 1+ <val>/4 as the rounding radius

I feel your building outline is too complicated for the equipped shape.
Visio has only simple outlines that are rectangle shape, L-shape and mountain-shape.
I recommend you to simplify your building outline a bit for your better and economic design,
or you need to develop a new shape for your own layout.

I ended up redrawing the entire layout and it corrected the corners. I am not sure why they look like blocks in the old one but the new one looks the way they normally do.

I think you used exteria walls, then wall corner finished pretty.
