I have 10 or so stencils that load in whatever order they're opened.  Rearranging them is a pain.  I'd like to keep all the Networking stencils together, all the Components stencils toegether, etc, etc, when the drawing is opened.

Is there any way to keep stencils in order and prevent rearranging of them?

Which version of Visio? (in case it matters...)

That's a negative.  For me it loads them in the order it was closed.  It'd be nice if it loaded alphabetically, then I could just number them, even better if I could categorize..

but when you open a group of stencils....it loads alphabetically....if you open 1 at a time, its latest at the bottom.
Either way...it holds the order on next open

So if you have a fixed set of stencils....open them in a blank drawing in the order you want....save or make a template....so same every time.

Of course, could use VBA to do this for you
