Title: Label appears when you (single) click the object.
Post by: mgrann on September 02, 2009, 07:58:13 PM
Hello.

I'd like to be able to display a label (IP address) when I click (not 2x click) an object or connector in Visio. So far I've seen examples of editing the Double-Click behavior and cell, but there are too many steps to get the end result. I have seen a sample drawing where the length of an office wall, for example, would show up along its side when you click on the "wall" and disappear when you click anywhere else. Does anyone know how to hide/unhide this information when you click an object?

TIA,

MG

Hi,

You don't like double-click.
How would you like about right-click or hover on the shape?
