Macro recording does not work with the Format Painter

I tried to record a macro where I wanted to format a connection line like another connection line on the page. The line was formatted correctly but no code was recorded in the macro.

There are numerous examples of where the macro recorder will not capture some internal Visio operations. You might try capturing a manual configuration of the line to gather the distinct steps.
