Timeline help

I'm trying to create a timeline that has the below elements. Can anyone recommend a good layout?

1. 3 date ranges. The problem I have is the middle range overlaps the first and last so the comments\date overlaps the bracket. Each of these ranges need to show the date and a comment, without overlapping and must look clean.
1=7/25/14 to 12/15/14
2=9/1/14 to 4/30/15
3=12/15/14 to 6/1/15

2. There are 3 events that occur on selected dates, must show date and a comment.

Why not put the 1st and 3rd interval brackets above the timeline, and the 2nd bracket below the timeline?
