Hello,
Thanks in advance for all replies. I am running Visio Pro 2019 sofware.
Whats the best way to connect a connector to an existing connector? I am trying to show the flow of liquid as it veers off the main piping and goes through water heaters then back into the main water pipes.
Thanks,
You want to set Visio such that gluing to shape geometry is enabled:
GUI>View>expand Visiual Aids. The Snap&Glue window will popup. For the Glue To category, select Shape geometry. Hit OK Go back to Home tab to resume drawing. Connectors can now be glued to other connectors.
Two connectors should be able to glue themselves together. You may need to adjust your Snap and Glue settings.

Thanks for your reply. I did as you suggested, my snap to settings checked included shape geometry was already selected. Thoughts?

Thanks for your reply, please read my other response and let me know your thoughts.
Snap setting is fine. You must set GLUE TO setting to include shape geometry.
I do feel that the snap and glue settings are something that should be settable on a per document basis. If you need to change the settings for one particular instance of drawing then you can be sure that it'll mess up for some other drawing type.
And you now know where to ask if you want to create connectors that can be graded based on numeric values !!!
