Hello,

as everyone sure knows, you can move a shape with the arrow keys.
Is it possible to control by which increment a shape moves?

It seems to change with the zoom-factor, or (because I use dynamic grid)
zoom changes the dynamic grid and that changes the increment by which a shape moves with one stroke of the arrow key.
Don't know which is the case.

It seems to make a difference, if the shape is 1D or 2D, too. For example with zoom 200% a 1D shape (connector line) moves 0.5 mm with each keystroke.
A 2D shape moves for example from 15.0 mm to 15.1 mm than to 15.4 mm than to 15.5 mm than 15.6 mm than 15.9 mm and last 16.0 mm.

What I would like, is that each keystroke moves a shape from one grid line to the next.
How can I influence that?

I've created a utility that helps with this at:

There is a shape nudge, you set the distance you want to move the shape(s) and then use the on-screen arrows. Doesn't work with the arrow kets unfortunately.
