Title: Can I feed variables into Viso from a file?

We use Visio to create fairly simple network diagrams that almost always contain the same elements, but that are labelled with distinct variables each time.  I'd like to speed this process up by pointing the variables to a file that I can easily generate.  For example, I might have a router shape with a label stating the IP address.  Is it possible to look this information up externally?

If the info is in an Excel file, relatively easy.

If the info is in a doc file, more difficult as you'd have to parse the text string.
