Title: Visio 2010 - Scale corner radius proportionally
Post by: newso on February 14, 2017, 11:59:24 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to create a shape with rounded corners that will scale correctly. Currently I am defining the corner radius, but as an example, when I scale down a square with rounded corners, the corner radius stays at the value I set and eventually it looks like a circle rather than a small square with rounded corners.

Could someone help me out here? Or point me at a simple tutorial? Simple Visio tutorials don't seem too easy to come by.

Easiest way is to perform joint or union in the menu operation in developer.
The corners will change to real arcs.

That worked perfectly. Thank you, I wouldn't have thought to try that.
