Title: Making fill patterns available
Post by: dtallent on April 23, 2018, 03:38:46 PM
I am wondering if anyone knows how to make a custom fill pattern available to many different plans. I know how to save it in Drawing Explorer for each plan, but I am wondering is there a way to make each pattern available for all of my plans. I create fill patterns for grass, carpet, different flooring, sand, trees and a bunch of others. I now it doesn't take much to put them in Drawing explorer, I am just curious if there is an easier way.

You can save your patterns in stencil. When you open this stencil with your document, in this document you can apply your pattern from stencil

any new doc
- open doc
- add the "fill pattern" stencil
    - open stencil
    - go to location
    - select and enter

Also can add to a template so that when you open a new doc, its already there
