Getting Started

I have been using Visio for a while for creating floorplans, elevations, schematic line drawings, etc. I have yet to step up to the next level of Visio utilizing smart shapes/ shapesheet & programming aspects.

Can someone please point me in the right direction of where to get started or some tutorials to read?

Hell, I don't even know how to access the smartsheet properties.

Perhaps a good place to get started is here:  http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa245244(v=office.10).aspx.  Even though it's V2002, the information is relavent.  From there, venture over to VisioGuy's blog site:  http://www.visguy.com/

Thank you. Found the shapesheet window, and it doesnt look too intimidating. It looks like I have some reading to get started on.

Is there anything else you or anyone else would recommend that I look into? ShapeSheet or anything else concerning Visio?

The SDK has a lot of examples in it, you may want to download that.
