Lock shape position within group

Hey all,

Not sure where exactly this question falls in the forum break down so I tossed it here. My question is, is it possible to lock a shapes position within its containing shape so that regardless of how the user moves/resizes the containing shape it stays in the same position? I know it is possible to lock the shape's height and width, and that would lead me to think there has to be a way to lock the positioning as well. Any insight?

DontMoveChildren in GroupProperties section in ShapeSheet
prevent the shapes in group from moves.

It locks the shape from the user changing the child shapes position relative to the its parent, and the shape stays in the same relative position. I guess I should phrase my question better, is there anyway to lock a child shape within a parent so it stays in the same position absolutely instead of staying in the same relative position? Relative being at a percent height/width of the containing shape and absolute being at a static x,y coordinate.

One of the shapes in the group stays at a point in the page.
It is correct to say it returns to the point.
